How Mallie works
Tell Mallie about your parent
Their routines, their medications, and the things you’d like Mallie to ask about.
Mallie calls every day
A natural conversation on the phone they already have. No app, no smartwatch, nothing new to learn.
Mallie remembers
Over time she learns what’s normal for your parent from their own conversations.
You stay informed
A short update after each call, and a heads-up when something deserves your attention.
Mallie learns what’s normal.
A single conversation tells you how Mom is doing today. Weeks of conversations help Mallie understand what’s normal for her.
That’s how a few short nights, or an ache that keeps coming up, turns into something you hear about instead of something you find out later.

Mallie noticed a change
Mom has mentioned knee discomfort five days in a row. That’s unusual compared with her previous conversations.
The longer Mallie knows your parent, the better she understands what’s normal for them.

Questions families ask
Does my parent need a smartphone?
No. Mallie calls the phone they already have. There’s nothing to install and nothing new to learn.
Will my parent know Mallie is AI?
Yes. Mallie tells them in the first call and any time they ask. She never pretends to be a person.
What if they don’t answer?
Mallie tries again later that day. If she still can’t reach them, you get a message so you can check in yourself.
Can Mallie call at a specific time?
Yes. You pick the time together with your parent, and Mallie calls at that time in their time zone.
Can Mallie remind them about medications?
Mallie knows their medications and gently asks whether they’ve taken them. She never tells them what to take, changes a dose or gives medical advice. If they mention they’re running low, she lets you know.
Is Mallie a medical service?
No. Mallie is a daily check-in, not a doctor, a nurse or a medical device. She doesn’t diagnose or treat anything.
What happens in an emergency?
Mallie isn’t an emergency service and shouldn’t be relied on to detect emergencies. If your parent tells Mallie about an apparent emergency during a conversation, Mallie may encourage them to call 911 and may notify you. If you believe your parent is in danger, call 911 directly.
Can my parent stop the calls?
Yes, whenever they want. They can tell Mallie, or you can pause the calls for them.
Does Mallie record calls?
Yes, and your parent is told before the first call. Calls are recorded and transcribed so Mallie can remember them and write your update. A small authorized team may review a limited number of conversations for quality and safety. Access is restricted and every review is logged. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Does Mallie speak Spanish?
Yes. Mallie can talk with your parent in English or Spanish, whichever they’re most comfortable with.
